This project aims to empower young people with knowledge and skills to become change agents, to advocate for increased community support for adolescents and youth sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) in Rivers state. This will also help to promote youth-led advocacy for the review of and implementation of Family Life and HIV/AIDS Education (FLHE) curriculum which is also known in Nigeria as the leading guide for comprehensive sexuality education. Through this project, KTI hope to refocus the FLHE curriculum beyond abstinence only for HIV/AIDS prevention, but with provision for, how and where to access contraception information and services and HIV/AIDS care/treatment among adolescents and youth.
